How much does a custom website cost?

Accepted Answer

Plans start at $1,500 for setup, split into 50% to start and the rest at launch. After launch, the Care Plan is $179/mo, or take the site over with a one-time handover & training ($400–$800 by plan, free after 12 months on Care). Card processing fees on payments your clients make go to Stripe at Stripe's standard rates (https://stripe.com/pricing), out of your own payouts. Texts over 1,000/mo are 3¢ each.

How do the deposit and final payment work?

Your deposit starts the work. Cancel before work begins and you get a full refund within 5 business days. Once development has started, the deposit is non-refundable. The rest is charged only after you review and approve the finished site.

Do you charge a fee on every booking?

Accepted Answer

No, we don't add our own booking fees. Payments go straight into your own Stripe account, and Stripe's standard rates (https://stripe.com/pricing) come out of your own payouts. Need Square instead? Tell us and we'll add it at no extra charge, though it can lengthen your build.

Can I switch from Vagaro, Booksy, Square, or Fresha?

Yes. We build around your current services, prices and hours, and you can keep your old platform running until launch day. We bring your clients over too: contact details, visit history, upcoming appointments, and gift card and loyalty balances, wherever your old platform lets you export them. Saved payment cards can't be moved, so clients add theirs again next time they pay.

Do I own my website and client list?

Yes. Your domain and Stripe account are in your name, and your client list and booking history live in a database that's yours. Want to run it yourself? We hand over the code and the logins for everything it runs on, then teach you to run it, with step-by-step tutorials for every tool and a training call on making your own updates. It's a one-time fee of $400–$800 by plan, and free after 12 months on Care.

What emails go out automatically?

Every plan sends a welcome email when someone joins your mailing list. Booking adds confirmations, a reminder the day before, a review request after each visit, a nudge when someone leaves checkout unfinished, a “time to rebook” reminder, and a “we miss you” email if they haven't been back in a while.

Do I have to pay monthly after launch?

No. The Care Plan is $179/mo (or $1,788 paid yearly, saving $360) and covers hosting & SSL, your domain, platform updates, a monthly stats report, 1,000 text reminders a month, and up to 3 change requests a month. Or run it yourself after a one-time handover & training ($400–$800 by plan, free after 12 months on Care).

How long does it take to launch?

Accepted Answer

Starter within 3 days, Booking within 5 days, and Growth within 7 days, counted from when we have your content (logo, photos, services and prices). Add-ons can add time. Text reminders switch on once phone carriers approve your business for texting, which can take a few weeks and runs alongside the build.

Can I add features later?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from your client portal. Add-ons chosen at signup are 10% off. Added later, they're full price.

Question 10

I already have a domain. Can I keep it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It stays where it is, and we point it at your new site. If you don't have one, we register it in your name so it's always yours.
